麥醫生是外科專科醫生，在乳腺外科方面擁有豐富經驗，專門處理惡性及良性乳腺疾病。她的專長包括腫瘤整形乳房切除術、乳房切除術、腋下淋巴手術，並精通腹腔鏡及內窺鏡手術。麥醫生亦積極投身於教學和指導工作，她採用「全人治療」的理念，關懷病人的身心健康。

她於2010年畢業於香港大學，取得內外全科醫學士資格，並於2010年至2011年完成實習。2011年，她在律敦治醫院開始接受外科培訓，並於2013年考獲英國愛丁堡皇家外科醫學院院員資格 (MRCSEd)。麥醫生隨後在香港多家醫院完成外科專科培訓，包括瑪麗醫院、東華醫院、東區尤德夫人那打素醫院及律敦治醫院。

2017年，她考獲英國愛丁堡皇家外科醫學院院士 (FRCSEd)、香港外科醫學院院士 (FCSHK) 及香港醫學專科學院院士(外科) (FHKAM Surgery) 的專業資格。麥醫生於2018年加入瑪麗醫院外科部的乳腺外科團隊，並於2022年晉升為副顧問醫生。她於2019年完成了香港外科醫學院的乳腺外科專科培訓。

在瑪麗醫院任職期間，她的研究重點為乳房保留手術後的自體脂肪移植重建技術。麥醫生與腫瘤科醫生緊密合作，為病人（特別是接受術前輔助化療的病人）制訂綜合的治療方案。此外，她也是一名認證的生命教練，強調「醫人」與「醫病」並重的重要性。

語言方面，麥醫生能說流利的廣東話和英語，並精通普通話，亦能以法語和德語作基本交談。她熱愛大自然和戶外活動。在行醫與手術以外的時間，您會發現她或在海中暢泳、划獨木舟，或在山野間遠足！

Dr. Mak is a specialist in General Surgery with extensive experience in breast surgery, focusing on both cancerous and benign pathologies. She has expertise in oncoplastic surgery, mastectomy, axillary surgery, and is skilled in laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures. Dr. Mak is actively involved in teaching and mentoring, employing a holistic approach to patient care that incorporates emotional well-being.

She graduated from The University of Hong Kong in 2010 (MBBS) and completed her internship from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, she began her surgical training at Ruttonjee Hospital and received Membership from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2013 (MRCSEd). Dr. Mak completed her higher surgical training at various hospitals across Hong Kong, including Queen Mary Hospital, Tung Wah Hospital, Pamela Youde Nethersole Hospital and Ruttonjee Hospital.

In 2017, she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd), the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong (FCSHK), and the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine in Surgery (FHKAM Surgery). Dr. Mak joined the Division of Breast Surgery, Department of Surgery at Queen Mary Hospital in 2018 and was promoted to Associate Consultant in 2022. She completed Breast Surgery Subspecialty training from the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong in 2019.

Her research focus at Queen Mary Hospital centered on autologous fat grafting as a reconstruction method after breast-conservative surgery. Dr. Mak works closely with oncologists to optimize treatment plans for patients, especially those undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Additionally, she is a certified life coach, emphasizing the importance of addressing both the person and the disease.

Dr. Mak is fluent in Cantonese and English, with a high level of proficiency in Mandarin, as well as conversational skills in French and German. She is passionate about the environment and enjoys the great outdoors. When not operating or treating patients, you will find her swimming or kayaking in the sea, or hiking in the mountains!
